Some old fashioned recipes- some from a collection of cookbooks that were my Mother’s and my Grandmother’s and Great Grandmother’s before them…going way back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some new recipes too… collected along the way from friends, more modern cookbooks and even from the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I CONSIDER ALL OF THESE (PRETTY MUCH) AS BASE RECIPES. I MEAN THAT EACH RECIPE IS A BASIC TEMPLATE FROM WHICH YOU CAN BEGIN AND ADD YOUR OWN TOUCHES, MAKING IT UNIQUE TO YOUR OWN COOKING STYLE. COOKING IS THAT WAY. THEY ARE NOT STATIC RECIPES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANOTHER THING I HAVE NOTICED OVER THE YEARS IS THAT SOMETIMES, YOU DON’T ALWAYS MAKE THE SAME DISH THE SAME WAY- SOME DISHES- WITHOUT YOUR MEANING TO- JUST COMES OUT DIFFERENT EVERY TIME.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
